Responsibilities \n
\n
\nAs an Electronic Field Engineer II, you will:\n
\n

\n
• Be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installation, calibration, repair, and modification of equipment and systems.
\n
• Solve technical problems in accordance with prescribed specifications.
\n
• Conduct laboratory and shipboard work.
\n
• Conduct submarine ship checks to determine the necessary efforts to seamlessly install systems onboard a platform.
\n
• Draft Memorandums of Agreement, Work Authorization Forms, System Tag outs and Controlled work packages.
\n
• Provide technical input and review for developing new Temporary Alterations (TempAlts), Operational Alterations (OpAlts) and Ship Alterations (ShipAlts).
\n
• Author detailed reports.
\n

Qualifications \n
\n
\n

\n
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance
\n
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
\n
• High School Diploma or GED
\n
• At least 6+ years of experience working with sonar systems as a sonar technician in the Navy
\n

Pay Transparency Statement \n

\nAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $75,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
