Gift Shop Inventory Control Specialist, Gift Shop, NEW TOWER, FT, Shift Varies

DescriptionResponsible for creating, updating, and maintaining accurately all vendor information, purchase orders, and inventory adjustments for assigned retail stores within the internal inventory system. Provides merchandise description, cost, retail price and quantities accurate across assigned stores in the inventory system while reducing inventory overhead through purchasing just-in-time inventory. Increase sales by making timely orders in response to current sales trends following Buyer guidelines. Involved in annual inventory of stores and adjustments due to any inaccuracies or discrepancies. Overall support of Gift Shop sales, gross margin, and turnover objectives. Position is critical to the overall success of retail store operations (i.e. BHM, WK, MCI GiftShop and Boutique, etc).
