About Monarch Recovery Centers:
At Monarch Recovery Centers (MRC), our Outpatient Programs offer practical, comprehensive treatment that addresses the whole individual struggling with alcohol or substance use. We begin from a place of understanding and acceptance — without judgment — and work to identify the root causes of addiction, restore sobriety and confidence, and connect each person with the recovery tools, community support, and resources needed for long-term success.
Monarch is LGBTQ+ open, affirming, and committed to diversity, because addiction knows no sex, race, sexuality, creed, or income. Our LGBTQ+ staff and allies offer connection, empathy, and support in a safe, inclusive environment, with a commitment to cultural competency and to treating the whole person.
About Our Program
We are a growing recovery program serving a diverse community of clients across our sober living homes and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Monarch accepts private insurance from major carriers, Medi-Cal, and private pay, and we are proudly contracted with the County of Sacramento's Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH) program . Our homes and IOP bring all of these clients together in one integrated recovery community.
All BHBH residents attend IOP at our Hurley Way outpatient office, with no-cost transportation provided .
All sessions are led by a CADC, CADC II/III, or SUDCC I, with supporting therapists and our Clinical Director. Several team members also serve as Peer Support Specialists , assisting BHBH residents with life-advancing courses and training.
