South Carolina Greenville, SC 296140001, USA Description POSITION SUMMARY: Play a supporting role on the Business Intelligence Collaborative team by building reports in Power BI to present analytics which are necessary for decision-making; analyzing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly financial and operational transactions and preparing reports for BJU Press departments. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Use SQL and DAX to create Microsoft Power BI which produce reports supporting decision-making. Provide quality assurance for other data analyst(s) report builds. Run queries and present the results in a format easily understood by the requestor of the data by using charts and PowerPoint. Use pivot tables and other methods of data manipulation within Excel to help with analyzing data. Maintain Power BI reports by fixing issues as they arise, troubleshooting and solving problems. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to analyze data and communicate the results in reports Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems Basic knowledge of SQL, DAX and programming languages Math/accounting skills with accuracy Detail-oriented Ability to use initiative and work collaboratively Data & Analytics certification An applicant for a position in the Bob Jones University group — Bob Jones University, Bob Jones Academy or BJU Press — must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
