This position is for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in a similar role. Candidates with travel experience are preferred. The patient ratios on the unit are 1:5 to 6. The unit accommodates a diverse patient population, ranging from young adults to geriatric patients. Priority admission is given to those requiring medical-level cardiac care. Patients may be recovering from various cardiac interventions, such as cardiac surgery, stent placements, or pacemaker implants. The unit will also serve hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients. The staff provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The daily census for this unit averages around 36 patients. Applicants should possess skills in telemetry, medication administration, and the management of cardiac conditions. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this role.
