Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Eaton’s IS AER ITD Aerospace Interconnect division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 1st Shift. The expected annual salary range for this role is $112000 - $ 130,000 a year. Working hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm M - F at our Camarillo, CA facility. What you’ll do: Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking an Production Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA facility. Position Overview: Primary responsibility to oversee the Machine and Molding manufacturing teams. Manages and coordinates all activities of the Focus Factory in processing materials or manufacturing products in the organization by performing the following duties personally or through High Performance work team members. Set tasks and priorities; provide technical support, analysis, and guidance of design, manufacturing, customer/contract support, and procurement. Essential Responsibilities: You will proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and rule enforcement. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 5+ years of supervisory/ operations leadership experience in a manufacturing production environment. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA will be considered for this position. Experience with Machining molding products /processes. Experience with SAP. Aerospace industry experience Working knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality control techniques, 5S, Six Sigma, and Quality Systems (e.g., AS 9100, ISO 14001). Experience with lean tools, continuous improvement or project management Experience in a high mix / low-volume manufacturing environment Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams. Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.
