Recruitment Incentives Up to $6,000 paid in equal installments for the first 26 consecutive biweekly pay periods. Fixed amount of additional vacation leave accrued in equal installments during the first 26 consecutive biweekly pay periods. Up to $6,000 relocation expense reimbursement for moving expenses for the candidate’s household, including pets, when the candidate's primary residence is more than 100 miles from the assigned work location. Recruitment incentive and relocation expense reimbursement eligibility and administration is subject to County of El Dorado Personnel Rules. Current employees are not eligible to receive recruitment incentives or reimbursement. Public Health Nurse Supervisor – Overview The County of El Dorado’s Health and Human Services Agency’s Public Health Division seeks a Public Health Nurse Supervisor to provide daily oversight of one or more public health programs. The role involves program design, planning, evaluation, development of practice standards, outcome monitoring and analysis, fiscal reporting, community stakeholder representation, clinical practice as appropriate, and emergency response. Key Responsibilities Monitor program effectiveness and service outcomes, identify opportunities for improving nursing practice and service delivery, and develop best practices with management. Plan, evaluate, and secure necessary equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor, control, and inventory these assets. Provide technical consultation and guidance to staff on complex client cases, co‑manage high‑complexity cases, and conduct quality assurance. Conduct fiscal planning and budget or grant preparation, including strategic planning for budget or grant implementation. Ideal Candidate A strong leader, communicator, and manager with experience leading a nursing team and full personnel management. Demonstrated success in implementing simultaneous high‑priority projects, strong problem‑solving skills, and subject‑matter expertise in public health nursing compliance and regulatory oversight. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university (or equivalent education, experience, and training). Two (2) years of public health nursing experience at the level of Public Health Nurse II; one (1) year of lead experience preferred. Valid California R.N. license or eligibility for reciprocity. California State Public Health Nursing certificate. Valid CPR certification. Completion of California child abuse and neglect recognition and reporting training. Valid California and Nevada driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
