Real Estate Associate AttorneyDirect Counsel is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of commercial real estate experience to join a growing real estate practice.The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions, particularly leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and construction matters. Experience with real estate finance transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine financings and equity investments, as well as related due diligence, is preferred.ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactionsHandle acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and leasing mattersDraft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreementsAssist with construction and development mattersRepresent developers, sellers, purchasers, landlords, tenants, institutional investors, and lendersHandle real estate finance transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine financings and equity investmentsConduct and oversee real estate due diligenceCollaborate with attorneys across practice areas to provide comprehensive client serviceCommunicate directly with clients and provide practical, business-oriented legal adviceQualifications4–6 years of demonstrated commercial real estate experienceStrong experience with commercial real estate transactions, particularly leasing, acquisitions, and dispositionsExperience with construction matters preferredReal estate finance experience, including mortgage and mezzanine financing and equity investments, preferredExcellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skillsStrong technical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative teamProactive approach with the ability to develop creative and practical solutionsAdmission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate will reside and active good standing requiredWork EnvironmentThe firm offers a hybrid work environment, allowing attorneys to work remotely up to two days per week while maintaining the benefits of in-office collaboration.CompensationThe anticipated base salary range is $180,000–$230,000, depending on geographic location, experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and other relevant factors.Why Consider This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate matters alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment.
