Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked global law firm seeking a 2nd to 3rd year Technology Companies Group Associate to join its Austin TX office on an in office basis. This is a corporate focused associate opportunity for an attorney interested in advising emerging and growth stage technology companies and the investors who back them, with a strong emphasis on venture capital financings and related transactional work. The team offers a collaborative, partner led environment with cross office support and a steady flow of sophisticated matters for innovative clients. The Austin office is part of a broader national and international platform, and the firm values clear communication, strong judgment, and a practical approach to getting deals done. The Opportunity You will support venture capital financings and other corporate transactions for technology clients, helping guide companies through multiple stages of growth. The role includes coordinating deal execution, working with colleagues across several offices, and contributing to responsive, scalable client service. The position is based in Austin with an expectation of in office attendance five days per week.
