LabCorp is seeking a Training Coordinator to join its team in Oak Creek, WI.
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00pm 2:30am Rotating Weekends
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees as well as initial training.
- Ensure a positive new hire experience
- Provide on-going group and individualized training for purposes of work performance enhancement and general education
- Deliver training in the areas of company and department policies and procedures, department related competencies and Lab Information Systems
- Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectives
- Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans
- Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department employees
- Support leadership with their goals in relation to quality and service metrics
- Assist with the creation of improvement plans for underperforming employees
- Maintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conducted
- Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times
- Assist with the workflow during times of high volume or when coverage is needed
- Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the department
- Assist in leading the team in their daily processes and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year or more of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher
- 1 year or more experience of training or leading a team
- 2 years or more experience in specimen processing in a hospital or clinical setting.
Additional Job Standards:
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to travel throughout territory for training purposes
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
