The DAM Shop, located at the beautiful Elk Rapids Marina, is seeking an experienced bartender to join our crew. The DAM Shop is a lively, family friendly business located on the water in Elk Rapids, MI. We strive to deliver an exceptional experience to our guests YEAR ROUND. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in the restaurant industry, is knowledgeable about different types of drinks and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for mixology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be willing to cross‑train if needed as a barista. This is a year‑round business. This position is paid hourly + tips. Responsibilities: Greet customers and take orders. Mix drinks according to recipes and customer preferences. Serve drinks and food to customers. Ensure that all alcohol is served responsibly. Keep the bar area clean and organized. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchasing alcohol. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
