Home Health Care Professional (Home Health Aide / CNA / Caregiver)

Location: Broward County 

Position Summary

Provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care tailored to each patient's individual needs. Team members will assist patients with personal care, activities of daily living, companionship, and maintaining a safe home environment while delivering exceptional service with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises as appropriate.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, hydration, and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders (non-clinical).
• Observe, monitor, and report changes in patient condition to the supervising clinician.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, independence, and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• Active Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate
• Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
• Previous professional caregiving or home care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid Florida driver's license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned patient visits.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
