Occupational Health Nurse

Location: Fully Onsite/Corning, NY/Addison, NY/Painted Post, NY Duration: 6+ Months Contract Part time- 5-20 hours per week. Day shifts available, M-F – with occasional off-shift hours. Top 3 Required Skills: Registered Nurse with active state license Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills Must-Have Skills: Minimum 5+ years RN experience (Occupational Health preferred) BSN – Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Current CPR Certification Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and EMR systems Key Responsibilities and Duties: Provide nursing assessments, treatments, and recommendations for employees within RN scope of practice Document and maintain medical records in compliance with OSHA or similar regulations, ensuring privacy and confidentiality Support site medical emergency response program and regulatory surveillance exams Manage disability and absence processes, including case management, FMLA, and return-to-work accommodations Coordinate with insurance carriers, benefits, workers’ compensation, and providers for effective case resolution Participate in health, safety, and wellness initiatives, including pandemic preparedness and 24/7 health programs Oversee medical inventory and liaise with external occupational medical providers as needed Requirements: Registered Nurse with current state license BSN – Bachelor’s degree in Nursing 5+ years RN experience (Occupational Health preferred) Current CPR certification Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
