GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Assist accounting department in performing work necessary for proper record storage, records scanning, filing, data entry and accounting processes.
MONDAY-FRIDAY, 7:30AM-4:00PM
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scans account receivables/payables.
- Scans payroll documents.
- Performs computer data entry to assist staff.
- Shreds old records.
- Assists with payroll procedures including verification of earnings, entering travel & other deductions and preparing checks for distribution.
- Assists with other accounting functions as requested.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Equivalent to four years high school or GED plus 0 to 6 months related experience or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS APPLICABLE BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREEN. ANY OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT WILL BE BASED ON THE RESULTS OF BACKGROUND CHECKS AND DRUG SCREEN.
