What You'll Do
- Monitor residents' mental and physical well-being, report changes, and update documentation
- Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders for medications and treatments
- Supervise unlicensed nursing assistants, ensuring quality resident care
- Assist during resident rounds with physicians to address medical needs
- Administer oxygen, feedings, and wound care, including knowledge of wound vacs
- Check and coordinate therapy appointments, monitor infection control, and maintain a safe, hazard-free environment
- Support resident admissions, discharges, and transfers, completing all required documentation
- Communicate resident updates to families and coordinate with healthcare team members
What You Need
- Active NH LPN/LVN license
- BLS Certification
- Prior experience in long-term care or nursing preferred
