This is an initial 3-month contract assignment paying $20.00 per hour , offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting customers with their dental benefits and coverage needs.

About the Role

As a Customer Care Advocate , you will serve as the first point of contact for customers and dental providers, assisting with questions related to dental coverage, claims, benefits, and policy information. Through empathy, active listening, and strong problem-solving skills, you'll help customers navigate important decisions while creating positive and memorable experiences.

Success in this role requires individuals who are comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying engaged, productive, and customer-focused. We are looking for self-starters who take ownership of their work, manage their time effectively, and consistently deliver exceptional service with minimal day-to-day supervision.

What You'll Do

• Support customers and dental providers through inbound phone calls and email inquiries
• Assist with dental claims, benefit questions, coverage details, and policy-related requests
• Research and resolve customer concerns accurately and efficiently
• Process customer transactions and coordinate requests with internal departments when needed
• Build trust and strengthen customer relationships through empathy, professionalism, and effective communication
• Navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously to provide complete and timely solutions
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience on every interaction
• Work independently from your home office while maintaining productivity, accountability, and service excellence

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of remote call center or customer service experience
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong time management and accountability
• Demonstrated success managing workload and performance expectations while working from home
• Reliable wired high-speed internet connection (minimum 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload; WiFi not compatible)
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple screens, systems, and applications simultaneously
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and customer-focused in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of call center or customer service experience
• Experience supporting insurance, healthcare, dental, or benefits-related customers
• Previous experience working in a dental office
• Salesforce experience
• Strong keyboarding and multitasking abilities
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with a passion for helping others

Training & Schedule

• Paid onsite training for the first 8 weeks
• Training schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM EST
• Following training, schedules may fall anywhere between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM EST , Monday-Friday, based on business needs
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is required
• Monthly in-office engagement day required

Location Requirement

Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Cary, North Carolina (27513) and be able to attend onsite training and periodic in-office events.
