Rebuild Project Manager

*Reports To * Operations Manager and Owners *Job Summary * The Rebuild Project Manager is responsible for managing reconstruction projects from start to finish. This includes scheduling, customer communication, subcontractor coordination, job documentation, material planning, quality control, and final completion. This is a hands on project management role. The right person must be able to lead projects, communicate well, stay organized, use Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets, and be willing to work in the field when needed to help keep jobs moving. The Rebuild Project Manager will report to the Operations Manager and Owners and must be able to work well with the Director of Field Operations, who oversees all mitigation projects, to ensure a smooth transition from mitigation to rebuild. Main Responsibilities Manage rebuild projects from start to finish. Create and maintain project schedules. Communicate with customers weekly or daily as necessary, adjusters, subcontractors, vendors, office staff, management, and ownership. Work in conjunction with the Director of Field Operations to coordinate project transitions from mitigation to rebuild and maintain clear communication between departments. Review scopes of work, estimates, contracts, job notes, and customer expectations. Coordinate materials, labor, subcontractors, inspections, and job site needs. Visit job sites regularly to check quality, progress, cleanliness, and safety. Work in the field when necessary, including helping with materials, punch list items, job site prep, cleanup, light demo, or other tasks needed to move the project forward. Track job progress, job costs, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor invoices. Help maintain job profitability by managing labor, materials, subcontractors, and timelines. Document job updates, photos, notes, signed forms, customer communication, and completion details. Use Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Asana, email, smartphones, tablets, and company software to keep job files organized and current. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and vendors. Make sure work is completed according to company standards and customer expectations. Perform final walkthroughs with customers. Provide the office with information needed for billing and job closeout. Follow all company safety policies and use proper PPE when required. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications Construction, restoration, remodeling, or project management experience preferred. Must be organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple jobs at once. Must communicate clearly and professionally. Must be comfortable using Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Asana, email, smartphones, and tablets. Must be able to work well with operations, ownership, the Director of Field Operations, office staff, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to work in the field as needed. Must be willing to obtain applicable industry certifications if required. Physical Requirements This position includes both office and field work. The employee may be required to stand, walk, climb, bend, crawl, lift, carry materials, load and unload supplies, and work in active construction or restoration environments. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and may be exposed to dust, fumes, odors, moisture, chemicals, damaged structures, adverse weather, crawlspaces, attics, and other job site conditions. Work Environment Work may take place in homes, businesses, churches, commercial buildings, crawlspaces, attics, garages, and active construction areas. Projects may involve water damage, fire damage, smoke damage, mold concerns, demolition, repairs, reconstruction, and specialty restoration services.
