Billing Coordinator

Part-Time Billing Clerk Modern Mechanical Services is a commercial HVAC/R, refrigeration, and plumbing contractor serving DFW, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. We keep restaurants, retail, and multi site facilities running through preventive maintenance, service, retrofits, and equipment replacement. If that sounds like you, you'll feel right at home here. We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Part-Time Billing Clerk to help manage job and project billing. This role is responsible for creating accurate invoices, billing against purchase orders, and submitting invoices through customer portals. Part-time: 20 to 25 hours per week Flexible scheduling during standard business hours (Monday through Friday) On site in our Dallas office. This is not a remote or hybrid role. $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience Flexible part-time schedule Opportunity to grow with a fast scaling company Supportive leadership and team culture Create and send invoices for completed HVAC/R, refrigeration, and plumbing service and project work Bill customer purchase orders with accuracy and consistency Submit invoices through customer billing portals (ServiceChannel, Corrigo, Ariba, etc.) Coordinate with operations and service teams to confirm job details and resolve billing discrepancies Maintain organized digital billing records and documentation 2+ years of billing, accounting, or administrative experience (HVAC, construction, or facility services preferred) Experience with customer billing portals such as ServiceChannel, Corrigo, or Ariba preferred Field service software experience a plus (ServiceTrade) Excellent attention to detail and organization Strong communication and problem solving skills Able to manage multiple billing queues and hit deadlines without close supervision Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software
