Location: Houston, TX 77038
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM | On-Site

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and customer communication. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain shipping and receiving records, logs, and documentation
• Prepare and review Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and shipment paperwork
• Track open shipments and proactively follow up on delays, shortages, or discrepancies
• Coordinate with carriers and customers regarding shipment status updates
• Participate in weekly customer update calls through Microsoft Teams
• Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory and shipments
• Assist with inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, and basic formulas)
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Extensive WMS experience is a plus
• Basic computer, email, and Microsoft Teams experience
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of LTL, FTL, inbound, and outbound freight processes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
