Licensed Clinician Opportunities

R&C Consulting Group, Inc. is continuously seeking licensed and associate-licensed behavioral health professionals to support the delivery of mental health and substance use services throughout North Carolina.

This posting serves as a talent pool for current and future Licensed Clinician opportunities. Qualified applicants may be considered for positions as they become available across multiple office locations, programs, and service areas.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Licensed Clinician provides behavioral health and substance use assessment, treatment, consultation, referral, education, and therapeutic intervention services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Licensed Clinicians work collaboratively with treatment teams, Qualified Professionals, Team Leads, referral sources, and community partners to ensure quality service delivery and positive client outcomes.

The Licensed Clinician functions as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and works under the direction of the assigned Team Lead, Clinical Director, Assistant Clinical Director, and other program leadership as applicable. Licensed Clinicians may provide services across multiple programs and service lines based on licensure, qualifications, training, and organizational needs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may vary by program and may include:

• Conducting clinical assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations within the scope of licensure

• Providing individual, family, group, and substance use counseling services as appropriate

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment recommendations and therapeutic interventions

• Providing crisis intervention, stabilization, and risk assessment services when clinically indicated

• Reviewing clinical information and collaborating with treatment teams to support quality client care

• Coordinating care with healthcare providers, referral sources, schools, community agencies, and natural supports

• Assisting clients and families with accessing community resources and support services

• Maintaining timely, accurate, and professional clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory, payer, and agency requirements

• Maintaining compliance with Medicaid requirements, service definitions, documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and agency policies

• Participating in treatment team meetings, supervision, staff meetings, program meetings, and training activities

• Working collaboratively with Team Leads, Clinical Leadership, and other agency personnel to ensure quality service delivery and positive outcomes

• Providing services in office, community, school, home, telehealth, or other approved service settings as appropriate

• Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies

• Performing other duties as assigned to support quality client care and service delivery

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or higher in a qualifying human services or behavioral health discipline

• Active North Carolina licensure or associate licensure in good standing

• Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented practices

• Strong communication, clinical, organizational, and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability and willingness to provide community-based services and travel within assigned service areas as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference may be given to candidates with:

• Experience providing outpatient therapy, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, or community-based behavioral health services

• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families

• Experience conducting assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation

• Experience working within Medicaid-funded behavioral health programs

• Knowledge of North Carolina behavioral health regulations, documentation standards, and service definitions

• Experience providing clinical consultation, supervision, or leadership support

• Experience utilizing electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms

Compensation is determined based on the specific position, relevant experience, education, credentials, licensure status, and overall qualifications of the selected candidate. Compensation details will be discussed during the hiring process.
