Senior Product Manager

Overview Broadcom is seeking a highly motivated, self‑driven Product Manager to lead multiple products in the Foundational and Open Solutions value stream of our mainframe software division. The role focuses on TPX® Session Management for z/OS, VM: Manager, VM: Secure, and other products running on z/OS, z/VM and z/VSE platforms. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of vision, strategy, roadmap and release plans for new features or migration initiatives for the product set. Act as intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D to advocate for the product internally. Prioritize product features by analyzing customer needs and translating them into functional stories in collaboration with Product Owners. Remove roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines, and business objectives. Collaborate with Architecture teams to solution new features and capabilities, including exploring applicability of AI/ML technologies. Lead sales initiatives necessary for customer adoption of new product features. Prepare and present to executive stakeholders, including CXO leadership. Measure customer adoption and retention based on GTM plan and tactical execution to achieve product KPIs. Required Education, Experience, and Skills Master’s degree in Engineering. 10+ years of experience in product/service/program management or enterprise software development. Deep knowledge of the mainframe software industry, transformation trends, and insights. Experience with proprietary software partnerships, contracts, and vendor relationships. Expertise in managing complex cross‑functional, cross‑business, cross‑disciplinary projects. Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills. Advanced understanding of software licensing and product delivery in a B2B business model. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive level presentations. Ability to define Go‑To‑Market plans and lead product launches. Experience in triaging customer requests and leading product and engineering teams in a collaborative environment. Leadership, organization, and time‑management skills. Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $123,800 - $198,000. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and equity awards in accordance with relevant plan documents.
