Kitchen and Bath Designer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team at Carpet One Floor & Home. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with customers to bring their design visions to life, applying your creativity, industry knowledge, and design skills to select products and create stunning kitchens and bathrooms. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and wants, presenting a range of K&B products to suit their tastes
• Working closely with customers to design and bring their dream kitchens and baths to life
• Utilizing 20/20 Design software to create layouts, specify, and price cabinets for customer projects, working with multiple cabinet lines
• Accurately quoting, ordering, and tracking all kitchen and bath products to ensure seamless project execution
• Hosting design consultation meetings, providing follow-up communications, and ensuring customers are informed throughout the project process
• Entering product sales into our point of sales system for accurate tracking and reporting
• Supporting Sales Associates with product knowledge and project process expertise to deliver exceptional customer service
• Collaborating with project managers and contractors to ensure successful installations and high-quality outcomes
• Maintaining meticulous records of all project documentation, from start to finish
• Staying up-to-date with pricing and merchandising for the department to optimize product sales and customer satisfaction
• Providing outstanding customer service and support at every touchpoint

• Design portfolio demonstrating design and 20/20 skills is a requirement for submission.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Kitchen and Bath projects, including working closely with cabinet installers.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and quoting projects with 20/20 design software in multiple cabinet catalogs.
• Proven experience specifying and ordering plumbing fixtures for both Kitchen and Bath projects.
• Experience working with Kitchen and Bath remodel and installation contractors, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Experience working directly with countertop fabricators, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
• Excellent time management, record keeping, and project management skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results.
• Experience working with customer relationship management systems to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Proven ability to specify and order all products, accurately checking order acknowledgements, and communicating shipping schedules to customers.
• Candidate should be capable of maintaining updates to 20/20 and all vendor catalogs and pricing, ensuring the department remains up-to-date and competitive.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as experience using electronic mail, is required. Additionally, excellent spelling, grammar, written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with staff, customers, and vendors.
