Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Full-Time | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients throughout the assigned shift
• Prescribes and delivers nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and informed by patient and family input
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate and deliver patient care across applicable age groups
• Incorporates patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegates appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia interpretation required during orientation
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months required; recent Cerner experience also required
• Each work history entry must identify the charting system used

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
