Overview Ultrasound Technologist (Travel) | Ultrasound imaging specialty Elizabethtown, NY (with rotation to Ticonderoga campus as needed) Start date: 06/08/2026 | Duration: 16 weeks Weekly pay: $2,939 - $3,149 per week | Guaranteed hours: 0 | Shift: 4×10-hour days Work setting: Hospital travel assignment Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,939 to $3,149 per week Contract duration: 16 weeks with potential extension opportunities Shift pattern: 4×10-hour days; rotation between two campus locations Start date: 06/08/2026 Travel assignment in hospital setting with independent workflow at times Bi-weekly orientations and dedicated travel support Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations, including abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, and other small parts as assigned Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (Canon Aplio 1800, GE LOGIQ E10 R4); ensure image quality and patient safety Verify patient information, obtain clinical history, and prepare patients for procedures Document findings in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate results to radiologists as appropriate Coordinate with radiology team and physicians; manage patient throughput and adherence to safety protocols Flex to cover occasional shifts at the Ticonderoga campus as part of rotation; work independently when required Adhere to infection control standards and maintain equipment cleanliness and calibration Provide patient support and ensure comfort during scanning; maintain professional standards and confidentiality Requirements Active NYS Radiologic Technology Licensure NYS CT Certification NYS Injection Certification ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular (one or more) Epic experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) Minimum 5 years of clinical ultrasound experience; prior travel experience preferred Ability to work in a hospital setting and on a rotating basis between Elizabethtown and Ticonderoga campuses BLS certification Strong interpersonal and independent-working skills Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement Fast credentialing process Bi-weekly orientation sessions Opportunities for extension based on performance and facility needs PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
