About the Role
Oro Pro Plumbing Inc. is seeking a professional, high-caliber Service Plumber to join our Redwood City team. We pride ourselves on technical expertise and exceptional customer service. This is a versatile role requiring a technician who is as comfortable diagnosing complex plumbing issues as they are communicating with our office team and clients.
We leverage industry-leading technology like Service Titan to streamline your day, ensuring you can focus on the craft rather than chasing paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
System Installation & Repair: Expertly install and repair residential and commercial water heaters (standard and tankless) and all plumbing fixtures.
Technical Execution: Perform repiping, drainage work, and expert copper work while maintaining precise digital records and paperwork.
Specialized Equipment: Operate professional drain cleaning equipment, Hydro Jetters, and video inspection equipment to diagnose and clear complex blockages.
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, providing long-term solutions rather than quick fixes.
Compliance: Perform thorough inspections and testing to ensure all work meets or exceeds local California plumbing codes.
Communication: Maintain a seamless connection with dispatch and office staff to manage your daily schedule and provide real-time job updates via Service Titan.
Customer Experience: Deliver professional, transparent service by explaining work performed and answering client questions with clarity.
Asset Management: Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and keep all tools and equipment in peak operating condition.
Safety & Protocol: Adhere strictly to company safety policies and participate in a rotating after-hours/on-call schedule.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional plumbing experience required.
Advanced Skills: Proven proficiency with Hydro Jetting, Sewer Cameras/Video Inspection, and water heater installations.
Technical Knowledge: Strong mastery of plumbing systems, modern tools, and UPC/local codes.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50–100 lbs. and work in varied environments (crawl spaces, outdoors).
Technology: Proficient in mobile technology for digital invoicing and dispatch. Service Titan experience is a significant plus .
Requirements: Valid California driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a professional, reliable demeanor.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage: $25 – $50 (DOE).
