Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho, United States. Start date: 09/08/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Weekly pay: $2,070–$2,224 per week. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a teaching setting that handles approximately 200–300 births per month. Travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility and will submitt with an active license in hand.

- Onboarding: Core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing; onsite orientation; RN and allied modules

Responsibilities
- Provide direct labor and delivery nursing care, including high-risk antepartum management
- Triage obstetrical patients and respond to obstetric emergencies
- IUPC placement/calibration and assist/circulate for Cesarean sections and C-section recovery
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and monitor fetal status with appropriate alarms and documentation
- Administer magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, antihypertensives, and anticoagulation therapy per protocol
- Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) and utilize isolation precautions/PPE as required
- Collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure safe patient care and patient-family education
- Chart accurately in the charting system and coordinate patient handoffs

Requirements
- Active RN license in the required state or a compact license in hand at submittal
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM (fetal heart monitoring)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in labor and delivery; first-time travelers accepted
- Education: Education requirements provided in the notes are not specified beyond RN licensure
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, teaching L&D setting
