Accounts Payable

Our client, a manufacturing leader specializing in containerboard and corrugated packaging, is seeking a dedicat ed Accounts Payable professional to join their team. As an Accounts Payable specialist , you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable/Invoicing

Location: Mascot, TN

Pay Range: $26.00

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Post entries accurately and completely to the general ledger, verifying and balancing accounts.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including preparing batch payments.
• Audit and collect accounts receivable transactions, making adjustments as needed.
• Support weekly payroll processing and assist in month-end financial closings.
• Maintain accounting and payroll files in accordance with record-keeping policies and respond to corporate requests.

What's Needed?

• Associate degree 
• At least 1 year of experience in a business office or accounting role, with exposure to general ledger, payroll, or accounts payable functions.
• Solid understanding of accounting procedures and computer systems, preferably Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple requests, and maintain confidentiality.
