Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify movement disorders and mobility challenges.
• Develop personalized therapy programs tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Implement therapy programs that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education on techniques and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes, discussing patient progress and strategies during weekly meetings.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, helping them understand their condition and recovery goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients comprise individuals recovering from a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions that affect their hands and upper extremities. Many patients are post-surgical cases seeking restoration of mobility and function, while others may be managing chronic conditions that limit their physical capabilities. Your role as a Physical Therapist will be crucial in providing compassionate care, individualized support, and motivation as patients work towards regaining their independence and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Florida PT License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical abilities with a focus on patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation settings, are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits

The Florida Hand Rehab Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to monetary compensation, our benefits package includes:
