Daily Responsibilities: Assisting veterinarian during treatments Performing venipuncture and running diagnostic tests (blood, urine, fecal) Assisting with radiographs Monitoring and treating hospitalized patients Assisting during surgery Managing patient invoicing Communicating and educating clients Admitting and discharging patients Supporting exam room flow which includes collecting patient history from clients and updating medical records Maintaining clean, organized treatment and exam areas Required Skills: Experience in veterinary assisting and animal restraint Certification as a CVT/LVT/RVT (or equivalent) A calm, compasionate presence with pets and people Strong communication skills and attention to detail A willingness to learn, grow, and support your teammates Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same Curiosity and openness to learn about less common species Medical record keeping skills And Here’s Where We Get Real – Do Any of These Sound Like You?
