What we're looking for

About the Role Field International Manufacturing is seeking a talented and driven Lead Engineer - After Sales Services to support our growing service operation. Reporting directly to the Global Vice President of Customer Services, this role combines hands‑on technical expertise with leadership responsibility, ensuring aircraft maintenance tooling and Ground Support Equipment are serviced, repaired, calibrated, and returned to customers with the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within an international aerospace and defense manufacturing organization while helping establish and grow a new service center operation in Pensacola, Florida.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance tooling, mechanical, hydraulic, or industrial equipment service and repair
• Previous leadership experience managing technical, maintenance, or engineering teams
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems; electrical systems experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation
• Experience performing inspections, repairs, calibrations, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment
• Knowledge of machining processes, metrology, and special processes is preferred
• Proficiency with computer systems and engineering-related software applications
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Responsabilities

• Lead the After Sales Service Center and support all service, repair, calibration, and refurbishment activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction and service delivery
• Coordinate the receipt, registration, inspection, servicing, and return of aircraft maintenance tooling and Ground Support Equipment
• Provide technical expertise for the diagnosis, repair, testing, calibration, and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic tools
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements
• Perform load testing, calibration, assembly, and disassembly of maintenance tooling and equipment
• Refurbish tooling to the latest revision standards and implement approved upgrades when required
• Create service orders, quotations, documentation, and shipping paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Oversee packaging, logistics, and shipment of repaired and serviced tools to customers
• Manage local subcontractors and external service providers to support operational requirements
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain service center equipment, facilities, and work areas to the highest standards of safety and organization
• Support achievement of business plan objectives, operational targets, and customer service goals
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture
• Act as the primary liaison between Field International and its customers for technical and service-related matters
