Project Manager Corporate Office Buildout & Security Infrastructure

Remote with travel up to 25%. Preference for someone based in east coast.

Duration: 12 Months

Client is looking for someone on the east coast as they're going to be supporting some EMEA projects. Will be service provider focused, auditing the security posture, helping to fix what security protocols are needed. new space, existing space, etc.

Position Summary

• We're seeking a Project Manager to lead the coordination of IT and security infrastructure workstreams within corporate office buildouts. This role sits at the intersection of construction, security systems, and network infrastructure - ensuring all dependencies are tracked, sequenced, and delivered in line with the overall project plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and manage design and construction dependencies, including GC master schedules, JLL coordination, IDF build-out and ready-state milestones, cabling, network infrastructure, and vendor coordination - tying each back to the overall project plan
• Evaluate satellite sites, including conducting on-site exercises to gather building and building-management information related to IT and security infrastructure
• Coordinate security systems dependencies such as door hardware installation, power and network ready dates, and fire alarm tie-ins
• Track and communicate cross-functional milestones across GC, JLL, security vendors, and internal IT teams to prevent schedule slippage
• Identify and escalate risks related to infrastructure readiness that could impact occupancy or go-live dates

Required Experience

• Proven experience managing corporate office buildout projects, ideally with a security or IT infrastructure component
• Working knowledge of construction schedules and how MEP/IT/security trades interrelate (GC schedules, IDF readiness, cabling/network installs)
• Experience coordinating with landlord/property management teams (e.g., JLL) on base-building requirements
• Familiarity with security system dependencies: door hardware, access control, power/network readiness, and fire alarm integration
• General working knowledge of AV systems and common AV manufacturers
• Understanding of base-building integration requirements (power, HVAC, life-safety systems) as they relate to IT/security buildouts

Preferred

• Experience conducting satellite site assessments/surveys for IT and security readiness
• PMP or similar project management certification
