License: ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Certifications: BLS

Must-Have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion

Description:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations and provides technical assistance to the Radiologist.
They maintain and care for all ultrasound equipment.
The technologist prepares and examines all patients for ultrasound examinations following established departmental procedures and techniques.
They operate and adjust ultrasound equipment and take necessary safety precautions to protect patients and personnel.
Responsibilities include setting up, operating, cleaning, and making minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.
The technologist ensures that adequate supplies are available for use.
They assist in orienting and mentoring new ultrasound personnel.
The technologist captures images onto PACS and transfers them to physicians' workstations.
They answer telephones, schedule examinations, and may initiate transportation.
Additional duties may be required as needed.
