HVAC Equipment Installation Foreman

The HVAC Equipment Installation Foreman supports the industrial/commercial Contracting department by installing duct work and refrigerant lines associated with HVAC equipment. This equipment includes but is not limited to Split Systems, Roof Top Units, Air Handler Units, VAV boxes and Package Units. Opportunities for relocation assistance to North Carolina. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fabricate duct transitions in the field Layout sheet metal duct and fittings including but not limited to Sprial S & Drive Ductmate Exhaust Flue Provide instruction to technicians and helpers Pre-plan and schedule work processes Interpret job drawings and blueprints Manage the installation of refrigerant lines, ensuring proper connection to HVAC equipment in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. Install gas supply piping to equipment Assist other team members with job duties as necessary Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company’s mission and values Supervise complex jobs with multiple technicians Work hours: Monday thru Friday, overtime/weekends as required, travel to customer locations as required. The associate is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
