New Tech Global is seeking a dependable Shop Hand to assist with preparing equipment and supporting daily shop operations. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who is willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Overview
- Take direction from the Assistant Foreman and support daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with repairing and maintaining equipment
- Ensure tools are properly maintained, signed out/in daily, and kept in working condition
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Keep required training and certifications up to date
- Work weekdays and weekends as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge required
- Forklift experience preferred
- Welding experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per day
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (5-6 hours daily)
- Comfortable working in a yard/shop environment
- Steel-toed boots/shoes required
