Our organization is looking to recruit Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalists, Laborists, and OB-ED specialists to become part of our collaborative OB/GYN & Midwifery Hospitalist program at our facility in Sacramento, CA.

Opportunity Overview:

The role involves various responsibilities, including assisting with deliveries, managing OB triage, evaluating and treating patients, supporting surgical and OB deliveries, monitoring fetal health, and providing emergency department coverage for obstetric patients. You will work closely with an on-site midwife who is integral to the team. Our hospitalists collaborate with local obstetricians and midwives who practice at our facility. There are two hospitalists and one midwife available on-site 24/7, with an additional backup hospitalist accessible. The full-time schedule consists of thirteen 12-hour shifts over a 28-day period.

Qualifications:

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license.
• A current DEA license.
