We're looking for a hands-on Contract Technical Recruiter to help us scale our engineering and technical teams over the next 3–6 months.

You'll own full-cycle recruiting across a portfolio of technical roles, from intake and sourcing through offer and close. You'll work closely with hiring managers and the People team to build strong candidate pipelines, keep the hiring process moving quickly, and deliver quality hires.

This is a great fit for someone who is proactive, highly organized, strong at sourcing, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving startup environment. We need someone who can jump in quickly, build credibility with hiring managers, and drive results without significant day-to-day oversight.

What You'll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, QA, data, and other specialized technical positions
• Partner directly with hiring managers on intake, candidate profiles, interview strategy, and hiring priorities
• Proactively source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, and other sourcing channels
• Conduct recruiter screens and assess candidates for experience, technical alignment, compensation expectations, and overall fit
• Manage candidates throughout the interview process, keeping momentum high and providing a strong candidate experience
• Maintain accurate and organized pipelines in Greenhouse
• Help optimize Greenhouse workflows, templates, scorecards, and recruiting processes as needed
• Partner with the People team on compensation alignment, offer approvals, offer strategy, and closing candidates
• Track recruiting activity and key metrics, including pipeline health, funnel conversion, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively work with hiring managers and the People team to keep searches moving

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
• Strong track record sourcing and closing software engineering and other technical talent
• Experience managing multiple technical requisitions simultaneously
• Strong passive sourcing skills and demonstrated ability to build pipelines rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants
• Comfortable partnering directly with technical leaders and refining candidate profiles as searches evolve
• Experience working in Greenhouse; hands on experience required
• Strong communication, follow-through, and candidate management skills
• Able to move quickly, prioritize effectively, and adapt as hiring needs change
• Available to commit approximately 30–40 hours per week for the duration of the engagement

Nice to Have

• Experience recruiting across backend, full stack, platform, DevOps, QA, infrastructure, or related engineering disciplines
• Experience recruiting for SaaS, fintech, payments, or other complex technical environments
• Prior startup or high-growth company experience
• Experience with sourcing tools such as Gem, SeekOut, HireEZ, or similar platforms

Engagement Details

Engagement: Independent contractor (1099)

Reports to: People Team

Tools Provided: Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, company email, and applicable recruiting tools

Expected Req Load: Approximately 12–15 roles during the engagement

Compensation: $40–$50/hour, depending on experience

Successful-Hire Bonus

The contractor will be eligible for a $1,000 bonus for each candidate successfully hired through their recruiting efforts, subject to the following:

• The candidate must accept the offer and begin employment with the Company.
• The candidate must remain actively employed for at least 45 consecutive days following their start date.
• The $1,000 bonus is earned upon successful completion of the candidate's 45th day of employment and will be paid following completion of the 45-day period.
• Candidates who accept an offer but do not start, or who leave or are terminated before completing 45 days of employment, will not qualify for the bonus. xhyhwjd
• The candidate must be attributable to the contractor's recruiting efforts and appropriately documented in Greenhouse.
