Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:


Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions regularly and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and health management.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist with patient mobility and daily living activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
• Proven experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and electronic health records.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
