Allied / Tech - OT - Occupational Therapist
HCA Florida Blake Hospital (Level II Trauma Center) is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel position. The position is scheduled from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, with 5 shifts per week for a total of 40 scheduled hours. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on 05/05/2026 and ending on 08/04/2026.
The hospital is located at 2020 59th Street W, Bradenton, FL 34209. The facility features a 28-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and a 383-bed acute care hospital with an average census of 240. There are 15 Occupational Therapists on staff, including full-time, part-time, and per diem staff. The patient ratios are 4 patients per day in the IRF and 8-12 patients per day in acute care.
The typical procedures performed include evaluation, treatment, discharge, team conferences, family training, and the use of adaptive devices and equipment. The hospital expects candidates to have weekend flexibility and critical thinking/clinical reasoning skills. Hospital/IRF experience and stroke/neuro experience are highly preferred.
Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. There are 2 positions available.
