Senior Property Accountant

Real Estate Management AccountantOur company is a leading real estate management firm that specializes in managing a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. With a strong commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in the industry.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for accounting for a portfolio of properties, which includes the general ledger month-end close and supporting work papers. This includes both residential and commercial properties.Review the balance sheet and income statement to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions. Analyze and understand fluctuations in account balances and identify underlying drivers.Maintain and update individual property workbooks that are reviewed by management.Review and approve payables, ensuring proper GL coding and descriptions.Prepare budget to actual variance reports, providing valuable insights and analysis.Required Skills and Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university1 to 3 years of prior property accounting experienceWe are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Compensation range: $70k-100k, depending on experience
