Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Ascension Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Medical Surgical exam required; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% score or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG exam required; passing score of at least 80%; only 2 attempts permitted. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, the clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Unit Details: Functions as step-down unit at times.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules. Alternating weekends and holidays.

5 days maximum time off
