POLICE OFFICER

Duties

You will perform a variety of routine law enforcement and security duties, such as responding to standard service calls and conducting patrols, under regular supervision while in a training and developmental capacity.

You will have the ability to interpret and apply established guidelines and procedures to common incidents, referring more complex situations or deviations to a supervisor for guidance.

You will demonstrate the capacity to learn and apply skills in traffic safety management, basic investigation, and the use of specialized law enforcement equipment and computer systems.

You will independently handle a range of law enforcement duties, including investigating minor crimes, managing traffic incidents, and enforcing laws and regulations with progressively less supervision.

You will exercise judgment in resolving common incidents and is expected to handle more difficult and responsible assignments as experience is gained, working towards the full performance level.

You will possess a foundational knowledge of anti-terrorism, physical security, and investigative techniques, sufficient to conduct preliminary inquiries and support higher-level investigations.
