Culinary Assistant

Job Overview We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Ebenezer Assisted Living Community - Aurora on France in Edina, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes: 64 hours per two weeks Day/Evening shift Every other weekend Aurora on France is an innovative senior living community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora offers a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Responsibilities Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies Assists with meal prep and special events Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately Qualifications No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required Desire to work with seniors Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff Benefit Overview Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
