Assignment Details Location: Baltimore, MD Start Date: September 24, 2026 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: 36 Hours Per Week Shift: Nights, 3x12s Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend On-Call: None Required Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Position Overview The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse provides comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The RN is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, medication administration, crisis intervention, patient education, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and stabilization. Key Responsibilities Perform psychiatric assessments and patient evaluations. Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans. Administer and monitor psychiatric medications and treatments. Provide crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization. Monitor patients for changes in physical and mental health status. Coordinate care with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and support staff. Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery goals. Maintain a safe, therapeutic treatment environment. Complete accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system. Serve as Charge RN when assigned.
