Located in a community hospital and regional referral center. The facility has 171 beds. It is recognized as a Certified Chest Pain Center. It is a Level 3 Trauma center. The area is central to outdoor recreation. Beautiful mountain ranges are paired with serene lake scenery. It is in proximity to major cities, providing various opportunities for leisure. The unit consists of 40 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. Equipment includes IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, and a drug dispensing cabinet. The electronic health record system in use is Medhost. The supervisor for the unit is Tanya Hawkins. The patient population mainly consists of adults and geriatric patients. Types of patients include those recovering from total joint surgeries, surgical patients, and those with various acute chronic medical conditions. The ideal candidate should possess a compassionate and positive attitude with a can-do mindset. Open shoes are not acceptable attire, and scrubs must be black for both top and bottom. Preceptor and charge experience is a plus.
