Bookkeeper

• Hourly Rate: $30
• Full Time: 40 hrs./5-day work week
• Part Time: 24 hrs./3-day work week

• Report directly to the owner and play a key role in the company's financial success
• Manage accounts payable and receivable - including vendor invoices, customer billing, and payments
• Process commissions and subcontractor payments accurately and on time
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, purchase orders, and vendor statements
• Track job costs, project budgets, and profitability across active projects
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end reporting, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
• Assist with inventory, purchasing, and financial reconciliations
• Partner with the sales and installation teams to keep projects and financial records on track
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while providing excellent support to employees, customers, and vendors

• 3+ years' proven work experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, AR/AP Specialist, Accounting Clerk, Office Manager, or similar role
• Able to pass a background check (REQUIRED)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel plus mathematical and analytical skills (REQUIRED)
• Positive, communicative, and motivated to help grow the business
• Experience managing the full accounts payable and receivable cycle
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with commission tracking and subcontractor payments.
• Personal and professional judgment
• Understanding of bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to a shifting reality
• Strong operational, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality & discretion
• Knowledge of RFMS a plus, but not required (training provided)
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration a big plus!
