Rigging Supervisor
You will be responsible for effective rigging teams during external crane lifts and the internal removal, reinstallation, and positioning of large and heavy shipboard components of various sizes and shapes.
You will be responsible for selecting the best personnel, planning, oversight, and technical work direction of combined rigging personnel to ensure safe damage free handling of shipboard equipment, material and components.
You will provide first line supervision over a diverse shop workforce comprised of Riggers of various levels.
You will provide administrative management over shop operations including time keeping.
You will determine training, safety and occupational health, facility/equipment maintenance, quality of work, flow of materials, and sequence of operations.
