Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologist

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in regional anesthesia and obstetric anesthesia.
• Manage a diverse range of cases, including:
• General Surgery
• Urology
• Retina
• Gynecology
• Vascular Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Podiatry
• Dentistry
• ENT
• Endoscopy
• Thoracic Surgery
• Occasional Pediatrics
• Oversee operations in 9 operating rooms and manage 1-3 endoscopy rooms daily.
• Provide support to the catheterization lab as required.
• Cover the Burdett Care Center, our Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, primarily working within an Anesthesia Care Team model.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Proficient in both regional and obstetric anesthesia techniques.

Troy, NY is conveniently located just a short drive north of Albany, the state capital. The area offers easy access to Saratoga, the Adirondacks, and the Berkshires, providing endless outdoor activities throughout the year. Additionally, the Finger Lakes region, New York City, and Boston are all within a 2-3 hour drive. The Capital Region features an excellent public school system along with various private schooling options. Albany International Airport is also easily reachable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

• An annual salary of $600,000.
• A call schedule of 1:8, with optional extra call compensated additionally.
• A day off following on-call duty.
• Optional second call, also compensated.
• A $100,000 signing bonus for a two-year commitment.

• 8 weeks of vacation plus an additional week for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
