About the Position

We are seeking a Locum Anesthesiology Physician in Troy, New York to provide hospital-based anesthesia services in a high-acuity clinical setting. The role includes a mix of independent cases and CRNA supervision , supporting surgical services across orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy .

This opportunity involves care for adult and geriatric patients , with limited pediatric cases. The physician will perform general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia while working within a collaborative anesthesia care team using EPIC EMR .

Shift Timings

• Day shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Night call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend beeper call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active New York medical license at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to supervise CRNAs and perform own cases
