General Summary of Position

Clinical Nurse - Inpatient Rehab (O'Neil 5)

Unit Highlights

• Setting: 30-bed Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit
• Patient Population: Stable tracheostomy patients, heparin drips, post-stroke care, joint replacements, and limb salvage cases
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 5:1, with support from an average of 3 patient care techs per shift
• Length of Stay: ~10 days, allowing for meaningful patient relationships
• Team Environment: Collaborative, patient-centered care focused on measurable rehabilitation goals
• Scheduling: Full-time days (7a-7p) , nights (7p-7a) , or evening/nights mix (3p-11p and 7p-7a) ; every third weekend rotation

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
• Active MD RN License or Compact State RN License (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers (required)
• Prior clinical nursing experience (preferred)

This position has a hiring range of $35.00 - $56.91
