Physical Therapist Physical Therapist Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic conditions. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function. Provide patient education on injury prevention and self-management techniques. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Physical Therapy experience. Experience in an outpatient clinic setting. Completed at least one travel assignment or one month of a per diem assignment. Preferred Qualifications Previous charge experience. Experience with general orthopedics. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in orthopedic physical therapy techniques, including ankle sprains, AROM/AAROM/PROM, assessment, body mechanics, cervical traction, cervicalgia, concussion, crutches, cryotherapy, degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease, discharge planning, E-stim, elbow injuries/tendinopathy, evaluation, extremity mobilization, frozen shoulder, gait belt, gait training, hip fractures/injuries, home exercise program, environmental barrier identification, knee injuries/tendinopathy, long term goals, low back pain, lumbar traction, moist heat, osteoarthritis, outpatient clinic, pain assessment, patient family education, plan of care, post-op cervical surgery, post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, reassessments, rolling walker, safety and injury prevention, sciatica, sensory response, short term goals, skin integrity, spinal conditions, spinal mobilization, strength testing, TENS, time management, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, traction table, vital sign monitoring, and workers' compensation cases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in documentation and electronic medical records. Shift Details Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts. Schedule: Monday - Friday. Start Times: Monday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Days per week: 5 Contract Length: 13 weeks.
